Let me begin my explanation of how Newton changed our understanding of the Universe by enumerating his Three Laws of Motion.
However, today I am only gonna quote the first and third. For it is the most relevant now.
Newton's First Law of Motion:
Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.
Newton's Third Law of Motion:
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
You see, Newton's Laws were created so that we can understad why the things around us in this complex world that we are living in happen and what causes it. Yes, it is very complex undoubtedly but it is very true and accurate.
It definitely applies to our lives too. Not only a mere apple falling onto the ground et cetera et cetera.

Try giving the laws some thought and maybe you would understand what my point here is.
